We are seeking Licensed Practical Nurses with a license for Arizona. The Licensed Practical Nurse is responsible for providing patients with general nursing care, performing clerical duties and assisting doctors in a number of ways. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a hospital or medical setting, enjoy helping people and have excellent interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities:
- Handle a wide variety of medical situations and make decisions based on responses to the situation. Suggests the need for physician’s attention for patients and families.
- Communicates with physicians to obtain and interpret orders to ensure appropriate care is provided.
- Be caring and compassionate toward children and their caretakers.
- Monitor, record, and communicate changes in patient’s condition and respond as appropriate to the needs of the patient and family.
- Work as part of a team.
